The Pasticceria Zagara was founded over thirty years ago in the heart of Sicily, in San Michele di Ganzaria, from the intuition of Eliseo Zagara. With passion and dedication, Eliseo was able to transform a small artisan workshop into an excellence of Sicilian confectionery tradition, establishing himself with products of inimitable quality.

Since the beginning, one of the most popular desserts has been the famous “Banana di Ricotta“, a pastry masterpiece made with cream puff pastry and a creamy ricotta filling. The quality and care in the preparation of each dessert have won over not only the customers of the town, but also prestigious hotels and restaurants in the area, who have chosen to include the products of the Pasticceria Zagara in their menus.

In 2010, driven by growing demand, Eliseo took an important step by opening a Caffetteria Pasticceria in Caltagirone. Here, the art of pastry making meets the pleasure of conviviality, transforming the place into a point of reference for catering, refined breakfasts, apericena and authentic sweet delights.
The love for Sicilian tradition and the desire to make it known beyond the borders of the island have led Eliseo to a new adventure: in 2023 the Caffetteria Pasticceria Zagara was born in Florence. In the heart of the Tuscan city, the scent of Sicilian specialties envelops passers-by, offering a corner of Sicily where every bite tells a story of passion, quality and authentic craftsmanship.
